Amazon S3
Object storage that can serve a website.
S3 stores objects (files plus metadata) in buckets. With static website hosting enabled,
a bucket serves its objects over HTTP, using an index document such as index.html.
- Objects must be readable by everyone (public ACL or bucket policy) to be served publicly.
- S3 scales automatically – there are no servers to size.
- For HTTPS, custom domains and edge caching, put CloudFront in front of the bucket.
